The Linden Method was created by Charles Linden in order to overcome his own anxiety disorders that he had suffered since childhood. Charles suffered from panic attacks, agoraphobia and obsessive compulsive disorder. All of which can be eliminated through the Linden Method. What he developed has since helped over 100,000 people cure themselves of various anxiety and panic disorders. Charles is well known within the field of anxiety disorders and has his own TV series "Stress Less" and is a regular contributor to various newspapers and magazines. His book "Stress Free in 30 Days" was awarded a 'must read' seal of approval by The Times in the UK.

Charles Linden created the Linden Method from the results of his research involving many ex anxiety sufferers. He noticed many similarities between their individual stories and he used this information to develop his recovery program. One of his discoveries is at that all anxiety disorders are caused by a small part of the brain called the amygdala. This is like an on/off switch that controls anxiety and in the case of anxiety sufferers gets stuck in the on position. This can be eliminated by using the Linden Method techniques to reprogram the anxiety disorder.
In order to eliminate any problem be it emotional or physical you have to identify and treat the root cause. All anxiety disorders have the same root cause, the amygdala. This is why the Linden Method is so successful because it goes straight to the root cause of the problem. The success rate for eliminating anxiety with the Linden Method is about 96%.
The Linden Method is a drug free program that will put you firmly on the road to recovery from your anxiety or panic disorders. Being drug free is an important early step of the program and is covered in the early chapters. Having had my own bad experiences with prescription drugs I was glad to read this early on. I believe it's vital for us anxiety and panic sufferers to be in control of our thoughts and emotions and that they are not being artificially suppressed by chemicals. So I was glad to see that covered early on in the course.
Most importantly the method teaches you to just use the techniques in the Linden Method and not distract yourself with other therapies. Information overload was one of the main reasons why I failed to control my own anxiety for so long. I would learn one technique then I would discover something else and I would use that and I would never stick with one thing long enough for me to make it work. Or I would go to see a therapist and let them give me something to control my anxiety such as flower remedies or reflexology etc. I was using them as a crutch instead of dealing with my own problem by myself.
The Linden Method teaches you to be responsible for your own condition and not arrange you life to accommodate your anxiety. This can be a challenge at first as it's reassuring to seek the comfort of other people or to avoid situations we don't want to experience. But by doing so that simply impedes our road to recovery. Charles's wife Elizabeth also has contributed a valuable chapter to the book on how a partner can best assist somebody who is suffering from an anxiety disorder.
You certainly get your money's worth with the Linden Method. A 250+ page book, audio recordings and videos. You learn how to divert your attention when you get anxious so as not to experience panic attacks. You will learn breathing and relaxation techniques which are vital to controlling anxiety. The method will teach about the role that your diet plays in causing your anxiety and how eating the right foods can help make you feel less anxious.
My experiences with the Linden Method have been excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody suffering from any anxiety or panic disorder.
